The culinary delights of
our hotels in Meransen.

One of the best aspects of hiking or spending a day out on the piste is that you will have to eat plentifully to have enough energy for all the adventure that awaits. Fill up your belly without feeling guilty! The ¾ board offered by the HOTEL OF THE MOUNTAINS not only provides plenty of opportunity to do so, but also tastes particularly good. Three times a week, we bake the legendary Larch Loaf according to an old family recipe. This pairs perfectly with the heavenly cold meat and cheese specialities delivered by local farmers and neighbouring Alpine dairies. Homemade smoothies, omelettes made of free-range eggs

from free-roaming chickens and more are also included in our late riser breakfast. In the afternoon, our ¾ gourmet board treats guests to delicious homemade cakes and freshly brewed coffee. The highlight, however, is a four-course gourmet menu served in the evening. Sweet tooths and culinary adventurers will love to immerse themselves in our theme nights, offering South Tyrolean specialities and an abundant dessert buffet. The wine selection provided by our hotel comprises exquisite wines from South Tyrol and holds many a specialty in store – not just for connoisseurs.

Fresh produce from Alpine dairies and farmers in the surrounding mountain region, fresh mountain herbs and a pinch of salt are all our chefs need for their healthy gourmet creations, light temptations and regional delicacies. In line with the Vitalpina philosophy, our kitchen serves only the freshest ingredients that are also ideal to lend guests the energy they need for before, between and after their days of adventure in the stunning mountains.
